Shinji Miyazaki is Japan based Jazz / Avant garde guitar player.
Shinji Miyazaki was born in Kumamoto Japan in 1985.He started to play the guitar with friends
After getting into Miyazaki university, He started to learn Jazz and improvisation music(degree is agriculture.)
He took so much influence form Takayuki Kato, Kazuhiko Tumura, Akihiro Ishiwatari and many Japanese Jazz players.This still has huge impact on him.
In 2011, He moved to US. He had been in Queens NY for close to 4 years. he studied with Eri Yamamoto(Piano), Brad Shepik(Guitar),and Nate Radley(Guitar).
He had been playing his compositiones with the Durmer – Ikuo Takeuchi and many great bass players at Arthur`s Tavern.
In 2015, He came back to Kumamoto. Now he is playing with many great players with some projects.
